Fees & Rebates
The fee for a standard consultation (50 minutes) is $220, payable on the day of your appointment.
With a referral and Mental Health Care Plan, a Medicare rebate of $145.25 can be claimed. Medicare provides rebates for up to 10 sessions per calendar year.
If you have private health insurance, you may be able to claim part of the session fee through your extras cover. Your insurer can confirm whether psychology is included and the level of rebate available. Please note that only Medicare or private health insurance can be used for each appointment (not both).
Cancellation policy
I have a 48 hour cancellation policy. A cancellation fee will be charged if an appointment is cancelled with less than 48 hours of notice. This is to allow sufficient time for the appointment to be offered to other clients seeking an appointment.
Cancellations with less than 48 hours of notice will be charged 50% of the session fee.
The full fee will be charged for non-attendance of a scheduled appointment. Medicare rebates and private health insurance cannot be used to cover cancellation and non-attendance fees.
